1. Submission Process

All submissions must be made electronically through the journal’s online portal: Submit Manuscript.
Authors are required to create an account or log in using their ORCID or email credentials.

Include statements on ethical approval and informed consent.
Use the Declaration of Helsinki (2013 revision) for human research.

7. Submission of Revised Manuscripts

Authors should address each reviewer comment in a separate response document.

8. Graphical Abstracts and Multimedia

Authors may submit graphical abstracts to visually summarize key findings. Accepted formats: JPEG/PNG (600×400 px). Video abstracts or supplementary multimedia should not exceed 3 minutes in duration.

9. Supplementary Materials

Data files, statistical analyses, and additional figures should be uploaded separately and referenced in the main text as “Supplementary Figure/Table.”

10. Submission Approval and Authorship Declaration

During submission, corresponding authors must confirm that:

All authors contributed substantially to the work.
No part of the manuscript is plagiarized or previously published.
All authors approve the final version for submission.

11. Copyright and Licensing

All accepted manuscripts are published under the CC BY 4.0 License. Authors retain copyright but grant ACEO permission to publish and distribute the article online.

ACEO does not charge submission or review fees. Article Processing Charges (APCs) apply only after acceptance. Authors may apply for waivers based on country income status or early-career researcher designation.
